MORE ABOUT COLIN MCCARTHY...

Colin McCarthy founded Accessibility Professionals of Ontario in 2009 after spending the better part of the decade in corporate training with Durham College. Colin realized that when this legislation was enacted into law, there would be a need for business owners and organizations to understand not just the needs of the disabled, but the needs of business. As a former franchise owner in the fast food industry and a sales manager for a major automotive manufacturer, Colin knows the challenges faced by businesses trying to comply with an exurbanite amount of legislation.

In 1977 Colin lost his leg to cancer and, as a person living with a disability Colin not only knows the importance gaining access to a very large and growing market, he also knows how to do it. Colin and his team at Accessibility Professionals of Ontario are committed to assist Ontario businesses become compliant with this new legislation, and also demonstrate how this legislation can work for them!
